Creer en Dios es tener la convicción de que Dios existe y de que sus principios son verdaderos.  Por otro lado, conocer a Dios implica desarrollar una relación personal con Él.   Para esto hace falta  comunicación, oración, meditación, y  estudio de la Palabra de Dios.   Y si aún no  creyera en Dios,  estoy segura de que  El  cree en mí.

 

 

En el mundo, estamos los que creemos en Dios, los ateos (*)  y los agnósticos (**).   Los  que no creen, creen  a medias,  o  no están seguros de lo que creen,  pero la realidad es que creer en la existencia de Dios, es un trabajo de todos los días. 

 

 Tener fe  no es decir un día que  el trabajo está hecho, y  listo: Yo creo, y punto....Nooo,  cada día la vida nos presenta situaciones, crisis, tragedias, y por más  fe que creamos tener, nos hacemos la pregunta:   "¿Por qué?"  cuando  en realidad  hay que preguntarse  "¿Para qué?"   qué  es lo que debemos aprender, porque  la vida es una escuela, y muchos  no hacen la tarea de vivir.

 

A lo largo de mi vida,  hasta esta fecha,  pues no sé lo que el futuro puede deparar aún,  he tenido grandes pérdidas y tragedias, dolores y penas, pero también muchas  alegrías y me gozo en lo que veo cada día al despertar, la naturaleza, los regalos que Dios provee a cada instante, que pueden ser momentos, segundos, raticos,  y todas esas  personas que aparecen en mi  camino, algunas para amarnos  entre sí, y  con otras  para aprender, y ganar experiencia y sabiduría, no para  guardar  rencores y odios, sino para aprender a vivir mejor precisamente por las experiencias obtenidas.   Porque todos los días se aprende, o se debiera  aprender.

 

Cuando me dicen que no creen en Dios, veo que no han estudiado la vida.  Respeto sus opiniones, y  muchos viven su vida mejor que muchos que se profesan  creyentes.    Hay quien dice que si somos inteligentes y cultos,  letrados, importantes, y creemos en la ciencia, no podemos creer en Dios, y se equivocan, solo que han decidido no hacer su tarea con la vida.   La ciencia y Dios no están en riña,  somos nosotros los que no queremos ver la realidad.   Es posible que Dios no  exista para ellos, pero no  han tratado de experimentar, de conocerlo en realidad.   Y si algo pudiera  hacerlos dudar de su incredulidad, se tapan los ojos y oídos, para no  ver ni escuchar algo que es obvio,  y obstinados lo niegan.

 

 

Hay muchos otros que dicen CREER en Dios, pero se les olvida que Dios respeta la libertad  del individuo  y de la creación.  Hay que amar, porque Dios es un Dios de Amor, pero amar con libertad, no esclavizar, no subyugar, no coaccionar.   No podemos imponer, hay que amar con libertad y sabiduría divina, dar y recibir amor, empatía y entendimiento.

 

 

Muchos creen que asistiendo cada misa un domingo, o a un culto o un ritual  (que puede  ayudarles  sin lugar a dudas a acercarnos a Dios, pues esa es su función en  cada religión),  pero creen que  ya se salvan, que ya son ''BUENOS''.   Sin embargo, el  resto de la semana, sus acciones  no demuestran  lo que dicen creer.   No por eso debemos  dejar nuestra religión,   sea católica, evangélica, judía, musulmana,  budista, etc.  ni dejar de asistir  cada domingo  a misa  o  actividad religiosa,  pues eso  nos ayuda en nuestra relación con Dios,  pero  siendo  sinceros,  que   por lo menos  tenga sentido y concuerde   lo  que hablamos con nuestras acciones,  y no solo una hora un domingo, sino todos los días en nuestro proceder con Dios y con todos los seres humanos.    Es necesaria  la acción privada y personal con Dios, cuando oramos, y también la que hacemos  comunitaria como es una misa o un culto o ritual.  

 

También aclaro, que no creer en instituciones religiosas ni asistir a ellas, no significa  que no creamos  en Dios..  En mi hogar al nacer, mis padres profesaron la religión católica  en todo sentido, ya que mi abuela paterna era un católica práctica, de misa y comunión diaria,  pero nosotros en casa, no  íbamos a misa los domingos.   Papi respetaba a los sacerdotes, incluso un cura  fue su padrino,  pero era  algo anti-clerical por experiencias en su  niñez con el fanatismo de su familia por la parte materna.  Mi abuela venía de una  familia  con cierta riqueza y status, y  escogió casarse  con mi abuelo, un campesino humilde que en aquellos tiempos no  era muy bien visto.   Sin embargo,  fue mi padre quien  nos enseñó a rezar y nos habló de Dios a mi hermana y a mí desde que yo tenía 3 años,  y se rezaba todas las noches, con mis padres,  aunque no leíamos la biblia ni íbamos a misa. Pero el ejemplo de mi abuela y de mis padres, infundieron en mí esta fe que hoy aún  me acompaña y agradezco a Dios y a ellos inmensamente.   Cuando tuve novio  también católico practicante, comencé yo también a serlo, y educar en ello a mis hijos.  Pero no lo hice  como muchos otros que van a misa y listo, yo leía libros,  estudiaba cursos bíblicos, asistí y me comprometí con todos los ministerios de la Iglesia dedicados  a la persona,   y  a las familias.  No puedo decir LLEGUÉ.... porque todos los días hay que estudiar, examinarse y madurar y crecer.  Todos los días hay que hacer la tarea de la vida, corregirnos  a nosotros mismos,  rendirnos frente  a Dios con nuestros fallos,  no  con  soberbia  ni con  arrogancia,  porque todos  hemos fallado alguna vez  o muchas veces, nadie está excluído de culpas digan lo que digan, o por muy buenos que nos creamos,  es por eso que se reza  en  una parte de la misa,  dando  3 golpes  en el pecho,  "por mi culpa,  por mi culpa,  por mi gran culpa."   para que no nos creamos superiores.

 

Debemos examinarnos cada día sobre lo que hemos dicho o hecho, eso es lo que nos  lleva a  ser mejores, el ejercicio constante en nuestra alma y corazón,  con un auto-exámen, para  reconocer y pedir perdón,  y perdonar a los otros,  saber escoger siempre lo que sea mejor pero  sin engañarnos a nosotros mismos.   Somos humanos  y en ocasiones por mejores intenciones que tengamos, cometemos errores,  nadie es perfecto, pero con este ejercicio constante, llámese  examen de conciencia, meditación, reflexión, perdonando y comprendiendo a los demás, y pidiendo perdón y comprensión a la vez para nosotros mismos, estaremos haciendo una tarea que va mano a mano con la creencia en Dios.  Si dices amar a Dios a quien no ves, y no amas al que tienes a tu lado, eres un hipócrita.    Ya lo dijo Juan, en la biblia....  ''Si alguno dice que ama a Dios, pero odia a su hermano, es un mentiroso.  Porque si no ama a su hermano, a quien puede ver, mucho menos va a amar a Dios, a quien no puede ver. Dios nos dio este mandamiento: el que ama a Dios, ame también a su hermano.''  1 Juan 4:20-21 .

 

Hay cosas que nos pueden gustar pero no nos benefician, y con el estudio constante de nuestra  vida en Dios, escogeremos lo mejor para nosotros mismos y para los demás.  Pero  para eso hay que hacer la tarea de la vida.   Ser limpios,  no solo con nuestro aseo personal, o de nuestro hogar,  no es solo bañarse y ordenar, etc.  sino en todo, tener limpios la mente y el corazón, purificar el alma cada día más, y obrar el bien, el verdadero bien,  a eso estamos llamados. 

 

A veces criticamos la jerarquía de las iglesias o religiones organizadas, pero es que el ser humano, debe tener jerarquías... para ampliarnos más.   No somos perfectos, luego las iglesias y religiones tienen de Dios lo divino, pero también lo defectuoso de los seres humanos que las componen.  Es una realidad.   Por ejemplo, Cristo vivió su vida humana en esta tierra, en un poco de espacio, no de largas distancias,  mayormente a pie, en pequeñas barcas, o en un burro,  pero  para  que  su mensaje  llegara  luego al mundo, tuvo que tener apóstoles, discípulos  y seguidores  a los que fue  enseñando y preparando durante tres años, y  que se desplazaron a otras localidades luego con ese mensaje.  Para   poder predicar y dirigir  a  esa magnitud de personas y seguidores,  se necesitan  jerarquías,  por eso existen, sin ellas, todo sería un desorden sin disciplina y el mensaje debe ser único y claro.  

 

Acaso  en un hogar  no debe haber jerarquías.   Debe tener  la dirección de un padre  o jefe  de familia, y el apoyo  y  guía de una madre,  ambos  igualmente importantes en sus papeles, y los niños ser guiados y educados por ellos.. En un hogar no pueden ser jefes los niños, porque aún no tienen la madurez de adultos para ello.   

 

De igual manera, en una empresa u oficina, está el jefe ó CEO (Chief Executive Officer) o  director ejecutivo,  el administrador principal,  luego siguen los socios, los  diferentes agentes o  empleados con títulos diversos según su descripción de trabajo.    En  una fábrica  primero está  el dueño, el  Foreman, y los obreros  o artesanos.     En una escuela, está el director del plantel, y los maestros  y ayudantes, y los niños  agrupados en diferentes aulas, según la edad, y el grado que cursen, etc.     En un país,  debe haber  un presidente o gobernante, y luego siguen  los ministros a  cargo de  cada ministerio, y los gobiernos locales, estatales y nacionales todos por  escalafón  para asistir a los ciudadanos.  La constitución de EEUU   divide el gobierno  federal en tres poderes: legislativo, ejecutivo y judicial, asegurando que  ningún individuo o grupo  tendrá  demasiado poder. 

Pero son jerarquías, la verdadera  disciplina y orden, las requiere,  aunque la misión de cada una, sea el trabajo  conjunto de todas las jerarquías.   Y en todas estas empresas o iglesias tenemos que cooperar con nuestro trabajo, nuestro dinero, pues los edificios tienen hipotecas,  gastos de utilidades, sueldos que pagar,  para mantenerse y seguir ofreciendo servicios a todo el que los necesite.

 

 El peligro está en el ego, en las pasiones irracionales, en creernos con poder por tener ciertos cargos  o  posiciones, y queremos controlar, imponer, y distorsionamos  la religión  que sea o  el cargo  en que estemos.   Por eso,  si hacemos la tarea diaria de vida,  podremos  darnos cuenta de esos líderes equivocados,  y no permanecer ciegos a lo que ellos dicen y hacen,  como  rebaños perdidos,  sino  llamarlos a contar, con libertad y con respeto al ser humano, pero nunca al pecado,  a lo mal hecho.

 

En cada religión, y en cada grupo de seres humanos, hay fanáticos....sin excepción,  pero el ser humano busca  creer en algo o alguien desde los primeros tiempos, por eso adoraba  el sol, la luna, y construía  pirámides, y piedras o altares  para cultos y ofrendas.   La disciplina, la jerarquía, los rituales son necesarios para  que la misión se cumpla.   

 

Cada religión por lo tanto,  tiene que tener un guía, y  luego jerarquías que lleven a cabo la misión de la misma, mientras más amplia y global  ésta sea, más necesidad  de guías  con jerarquías, eso es todo.    Los que critican  esto, no han hecho  su tarea de vida.   Es que el ser humano, creyente o no,  siempre se apresura a atacar, a juzgar, sin detenerse, sin pensar,  sin misericordia ni empatía.

 

 

 Y los que dicen no  creer, o ser ateos, nos mienten, porque  en  algo creen.   Incluso en la rehabilitación de alcohólicos anónimos y droga adictos,  en la comunidad  AA    se les enseña para recuperarse  y mantenerse sobrios,  que existe  un SER Superior,  algo mayor que nosotros, porque lo espiritual juega un papel muy importante  para renacer a una nueva vida y corregir los errores.

 

 

En  ocasiones  muchos incrédulos,  niegan cosas que están muy claras en sus vidas,  pero la terquedad los ciega y no lo admiten.   Cuando vamos a salir, por ejemplo, chequeamos  las noticias, y  nos dicen que es  posible que llueva,  y  agarramos un paraguas  sin pensarlo dos veces.  Puede que llueva o no, pero creímos lo que nos dijo una persona que estudió la metereología.  El ser humano es un ser creyente por naturaleza.

 

Creer en Dios, es una tarea diaria.  Un comunicarnos en silencio por algún tiempo con  ese Dios en quien  creemos,  a través de oraciones y meditaciones,  pero sucede  que  muchos  viven corriendo, sin parar, sin percatarse muchas veces de sus  parejas, o sus hijos,  de sus padres  o  hermanos,  de lo que les rodea, y cuando  llegan las crisis o tragedias  en sus vidas,  incluso  los que dicen no haber creído  en Dios, tanto como los creyentes,  le culpan entonces a Dios de todo lo que les pasa y de lo que pasa en el mundo.  

 

La vida tiene altas y bajas, nos pasan cosas alegres, y cosas tristes, desgracias, enfermedades, pérdidas, injusticias, tormentos  y penas, porque la vida es así, con positivos y negativos,  es un balance de sucesos,  y no todo depende de Dios, sino muchas veces  de la elección  que hemos hecho en nuestras vidas.   

 

Creer en Dios no es solo decirlo, o asistir a un culto, y aparentar ser bueno,  sino llevarlo en el corazón de tal manera,  que lo pongamos  en práctica a  cada momento  de nuestras vidas.  Conozco muchos que se llaman equivocadamente ateos,  pero viven  una vida buena y admirable,  incluso cristiana en muchos casos,  sin asistir a una misa o un culto determinado.   Viven mucho  mejor que aquellos  creyentes que se creen mejores, tan solo por pisar un templo.  A veces me  confiesan  que saben que  debe haber un Ser Supremo,  pues hay mucho misterio y cosas  que  no se pueden explicar, pero no están seguros.  Eso  no es ser ateo, es ser agnóstico.   La vida es una  escuela donde crecer y mejorar cada día no solo para ese Dios en quien creemos sino para nuestro prójimo.

 

Podemos hablar verdades, pero hay una Verdad Absoluta y es la de Dios, y nos lo resumió  muy claro,  el propio Jesús,  

''Maestro,  ¿Cuál es el gran mandamiento de la ley?  Y Jesús le dijo: Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma y con toda tu mente. Este es el primero y grande mandamiento. Y el segundo es semejante a éste: Amarás a tu prójimo como a tí mismo. ''   [Mateo 26: 32-39]

(**) AGNÓSTICO,  se caracteriza  por su posición de incertidumbre en cuanto a la existencia de Dios. No afirma ni niega  su existencia, ya que considera  que es imposible  obtener un conocimiento absoluto o evidencia concluyente al respecto.

To believe in God is to have the conviction that God exists and that his principles are true.  On the other hand, knowing God involves developing a personal relationship with Him. This requires communication, prayer, meditation, and study of the Word of God.   And if I still say I  don't believe in God,  and  exists, He believes in me.

 

 

In the world, there are those of us who believe in God, the atheists (*) and the agnostics (**).   Those who do not believe, half believe, or are not sure what they believe, but the reality is that believing in the existence of God is an everyday job. 

 

Having faith is not saying  one day  that the work is done, and that's it:  I believe, period....Nooo,  everyday  life presents us with situations, crises, tragedies, and no matter how much faith we think we have, we will ask: "Why?"  when in reality you have to ask  "What for?."   What  is  we should learn  , because life is a school, and many do not do  their  task of living.

 

 

Throughout  my life, until this date, since I do not know what the future may yet hold, I have had great losses and tragedies, pain and sorrow, but also many  joys and  I rejoice in what I see every day  when I wake up, the nature, the gifts that God provides at every moment, which can be moments, seconds, just a while, and all  those people who appear in my path, some of them  to love each other, and with  others to learn, and  to gain experience and wisdom, not to keep grudges and hatred, but to learn  how to  live better precisely because of the experiences obtained.   Because every day you learn, or you should learn.

 

 

When they tell me that they do not believe in God, I see that they have not studied life.   I respect their opinions, and many live their lives better than many who  profess to be believers.     There are those who say that if we are intelligent and cultured, literate, important, and believe in science, we cannot believe in God, and they are wrong,  it's just that they have decided not to do their job with life.     Science and God are not at odds, it is we who do not want to see reality.   God may not exist for them, but they have not tried to experience Him, to really getting to  know  Him.   And if something could make them doubt  their disbelief, they cover their eyes and ears, so as not to see or hear something that is obvious, and they stubbornly  deny it.

 

 

There are many others who say they BELIEVE in God, but they forget  that God respects the freedom of the individual and creation.  We must love, because God is a God of Love, but love freely, not enslave, not subjugate, not coerce.   We cannot  impose, we must love with freedom and divine wisdom, give and receive love, empathy and understanding.

 

Many believe that by attending  mass every  Sunday, or a cult or a ritual (which can  undoubtedly help them get closer to God, since that is their function in each religion),  but they believe that they are already saved,   that they are already

"GOOD''.    However, the rest of the week, their actions do not prove what  they say  they believe.   That does not mean we  should leave our religion, be it Catholic,  Evangelical, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, etc.  nor stop attending mass  or religious  activities  every Sunday, because that helps us in our relationship with God;  but  to be  honest,  they should at least make sense that what they say they believe go together with  their actions, and not just for an hour on a Sunday, but every day in our behavior with God and with all human beings.    Private and personal  action with God is necessary, when we pray, and also what we do as a community such as a mass or a cult or ritual.

 

I also clarify that not believing in religious institutions or attending them does not mean that we do not believe in God.   In my home at birth, my parents professed the Catholic religion in every sense, since my paternal grandmother was a practical  Catholic, of daily mass and communion,  but at  our  home, we did not go to mass on Sundays.  

Daddy respected priests, even a priest was his godfather, but he was somewhat anti-clerical  due to experiences in his childhood with his   family's fanaticism on his mother's side.   My grandmother came from a family with certain wealth and status, and she chose to marry  my grandfather, a humble peasant  who was not very well regarded in those days.    However, it was my father who taught us to pray and spoke about God to my sister and me since I was 3 years old. We prayed every night with my parents, although we did not read the Bible or go to mass.  We would ask their blessing every night, and bless our meals.   But the example of that   grandmother and my parents,  instilled in me this faith that still accompanies me today and I thank God and them immensely.  

 

 

When I had a fiancé  to get married,  who was also a practicing Catholic, I began to  be one too, and educated my children in it.  But I didn't do it like many others who  go to mass and that's it,  I read books, studied Bible courses, attended and committed myself to all the ministries of the Church dedicated to individuals and families.  I can't say  I ARRIVED.... because every day you have to study, examine yourself and mature and grow.   Every day we must do the task of life, correct ourselves, surrender before God with our failures, not with pride or arrogance, because we have all failed at some time or many times, no one is excluded from blame no matter what they say.  It does not  matter how good we think we are, that  is why we pray  during the  mass, giving 3 blows to the chest, "because of me, because of my fault, because of my great fault."   We are imperfect  human beings, so that way,  we do not believe  ourselves superior to anyone.

 

We must examine ourselves every day on what we have said or done, that is what leads us to be better, the constant exercise in our soul and heart, with a self-examination, to recognize and ask for forgiveness, and forgive others.  Always choose  what is best but without deceiving ourselves.   We are human and sometimes  no matter what our best intentions are, we make mistakes, no one is perfect, but with this constant exercise, call  it examination of conscience, meditation, reflection, forgiving  and understanding others,  we are  asking for forgiveness  and understanding  at the same time for ourselves. We  will be doing a  task that goes hand in hand with  the  belief in God. 

 

If you say you love God whom you don't see, and you don't love the one you have at  your side, you are a hypocrite.    John already said it, in the Bible.... ''If anyone says he loves God, but hates his brother, he is a liar.  Because if he does not love his brother, whom he can see, much less will  he love God, whom he cannot see. God gave us this commandment: he who loves God, love his brother also.''

1 John 4:20-21.

 

There are things that we may like but they do not benefit us, and with constant study of our life in God, we will choose the best for ourselves and for others.  But for that you have to do the task of life.   Being clean, not only with our personal hygiene, or  our home, is not just bathing and tidying, etc.  but in everything, to have a clean mind and heart, to purify the soul more and more every day, and to do good, true good, that is what we are called to do. 

 

 

Sometimes we criticize the hierarchy of churches or organized religions, but human beings must have hierarchies... to expand ourselves further.    We are not perfect,  therefore churches and religions have the divinity of  God in them, but also the defective in the human beings that make them up.  It is a reality.  

 

For example, Christ lived his human life on this earth, in a little space, not long distances, mostly on foot, in small boats, or on a donkey, but for his message to reach  the world later, He had to have apostles,  disciples and followers whom he taught and prepared  for three years, and who later traveled to other further  locations  with that message.   In order to preach and direct that magnitude of people and followers, hierarchies are needed, that is why they exist, without them, everything would be a disorder without discipline and His message must be unique and clear.

 

Do you think in a  home should not  be hierarchies?.   They must have the direction  of a father or head of the family, and the support and guidance of a mother, both equally important  in their roles, and the children must be guided and  educated by them both not with tyranny but love and respect.   In a home, children cannot be heads, because they do not yet have the adult maturity for it.   Doing the opposite is the failure  of many households now days.

 

Likewise, in a company or office, there is the boss or CEO (Chief Executive Officer) or  executive director, the main administrator, then the partners, the different agents  or  employees with various titles depending on their job description.   

 

In a factory, there is firt, the owner, the Foreman, and the workers  or  artisans.     In a school, there is the principal of the school, and the teachers and assistants, and  the children grouped in different classrooms, according to their age, and  grades,  etc.    In a country, there must be a president or ruler, and then the ministers in charge of each ministry followed by  the local, state and national governments  in  all rank up  to assist citizens.   

The   United States  Constitution divides the federal government into three branches:  legislative, executive and judicial, ensuring that no individual or group will  have too much power.   Those are hierarchies, and they require  discipline and order,  although the mission of each one is the joint or team  work of all hierarchies.  

 

 

And in all these companies or churches we have to cooperate with our work, our money, since the buildings have mortgages, utility expenses, salaries to pay, to maintain  themselves and continue offering services to everyone who needs them.

 

The danger is in the ego, in irrational passions, in believing we have power because we have certain positions or placements,  and we want to control, impose,  and we distort whatever religion or position we are in.  Therefore, if we do  the daily task of life, we will be able to become aware of those wrong leaders, and  not remain blind to what they say and do, like lost flocks, but rather call them to count, with freedom and with respect for  the  human beings, but never to sin, to what was  done wrong.

 

In every religion, and in every group of human beings, there are fanatics... without exception, but human beings seek to believe in something or someone from the earliest times, that is why they worshiped  the sun, the moon, and built pyramids, and  stones or altars for cults and offerings.   Discipline, hierarchy, rituals  are necessary for the mission to be accomplished.   

 

 

Each religion therefore has to have a guide, and  hierarchies that carry out  its mission, to be  broader and more global ,  it will  need  guides with hierarchies to reach many,  that's all.    Those who criticize  this arrangements  have not done their life's task.   The thing is that human beings, believers  or not, are always quick  to attack, to judge, without stopping to think,  without mercy or empathy.

 

And those who say they do not believe, or are atheists, lie to us, because they believe  in something.   Even in the rehabilitation of alcoholics  and drug addicts, in  the AA  [anonymous alcoholics) community  they are taught  that there is a Higher BEING  something  greater  than  us, in order to  recover and stay sober, because  the spiritual  plays  a very important role in being reborn to a new life and  correct the errors.

 

 

Sometimes many unbelievers deny things that are very clear in their lives, but stubbornness  blinds them and they do not admit it.   When we go out, for example, we  check the news, and they tell us that it is possible that it will rain, and  we grab an umbrella without thinking twice.  It may or may not rain, but we believed  what a person who studied meteorology told us.  The human being is a believer by nature.

 

Believing in God is a daily task.  Communicating in silence for some time with that God  in whom we believe, through prayers and meditations, but it happens that many  live  running, without stopping, often without noticing their spouses, or their children,  their parents or  siblings,  what surrounds them, and when crises or  tragedies come into  their lives, even those who say they have not believed in God,  as much as believers,  blame God  then  for everything that happens to them and  what happens in the world. .  

 

Life has ups and downs, happy things happen to us, as well as  sad things, misfortunes, illnesses, losses, injustices, torments and sorrows, because life is like that, with positives and negatives, it is a balance of events, and not everything depends  on God, but  it does  in  several  occasions, from the choice we have made in our lives. 

  

 

Believing in God is not just saying it, or attending a service, and appearing to be good to others,  but carrying  it  in our hearts in such a way that we put it into practice  every moment of our lives. 

 

I know many who mistakenly call themselves atheists, but they live a good and admirable  life, even like Christians  in many cases, without attending a specific mass  or  worship.    They live much better than those believers who think they are  better, just for setting foot in a temple.   Sometimes they confess to me that they  know that there must be a Supreme Being, because there is a lot of mystery and  things that cannot be explained, but they are not sure.  That's not being an atheist, that's  being agnostic.   Life is a school where we grow and improve  every day not only for that God in whom we believe,  but for our neighbors.

 

 

We  can speak our truth , but there is an Absolute Truth  and it is that of God, and Jesus himself summarized it for us very clearly,

  

''Teacher, what is the great commandment of the law?  And Jesus said to him: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is similar to this: You will love your neighbor as yourself. '' [Matthew 26:32-39]
